Ms. Ajita Deshmukh

M.Sc. [Organic Chemistry], M.Ed. NET [Education]

Ms. Ajita Deshmukh is currently an Assistant Professor, School of Education and Research, MIT-ADT University, Pune. A passionate Chemistry educator for more than a decade, she forayed into training teachers for ICT-integrated education. She holds post graduate degrees in Organic Chemistry and Education and has submitted her doctoral research recently. She has a cumulative experience of 15 years. She has developed interactive learning materials for higher secondary school students during her stint at CIET, NCERT, New Delhi. Her research area is Social Media in Education, and she has published her research in journals and conferences, national as well as international. She won the best presentation award at the 6th European Conference on Social Media, United Kingdom in June 2019. She has also offered an online course for the UNESCO OER4BW project, Slovenia recently.
