Dr. Asawari is a lifelong learner and firmly believes "One who dares to Teach, should never cease to Learn".

She is currently Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, Head, School of Education & Research as well as PhD Chief Coordinator, Research Cell, MIT Art, Design & Technology University, Pune. She has worked in the capacity of Project Director of MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Higher Secondary Schools, Pune and Principal of MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul Teacher's Training Academy, B. Ed College, Loni Kalbhor, Pune, as well as Head, MITSOE&R, Cambridge Professional Development Centre, Pune.

She has total 24 years of teaching experience, wherein for 12 years, she taught Physics to students at under graduation level and for last 12 years she has been actively involved in the field of Teacher Education out of which 8.5 years she has been in the Administrative position. She has extensive experience in teacher training to school teachers up to Engineering College Professors, and Professional college's teachers. Her expertises are Educational Psychology, Educational Philosophyand Action Research, Technology aided learning, Mentoring and Monitoring and developing Modules for training. She has been actively involved in National Accreditation and Assessment Process (NAAC) of Teacher Training Colleges in Maharashtra. She is appointed as Associate Professor on the Dubai School Inspection Board to inspect Dubai Schools. She has inspected schools affiliated to the CBSE schools across the state of Maharashtra and also actively involved in inspections for school quality improvement initiatives with MIT Group of Schools. She has been Member of Peer Team for National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) for inspecting Teacher Education Colleges PAN India. She has worked on latest trends in Teaching and Learning strategies, Assessment procedures, Integration of multimedia into regular teaching practice, Learning styles, Multiple Intelligences, life skill education and integrating value education in school systems. She has completed Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers & Trainers (CIDTT) with Distinction and also was the Programme Leader for Cambridge International Certificate in Teaching and Learning, Cambridge Professional Development.

She has 14 research papers to her credit published in ISSN / ISBN National and International journals.

She was the recipient of 'Staff Exchange Award' to visit University of Stirling, Scotland, UK for Collaborating in the exchange, development and delivery professional teacher education and educational leadership. She was instrumental in receiving 4 grant-in-aids for Research Projects from ICSSR, New Delhi, India for her current institution.
